In this beautiful apartment the client asked to renew their bathroom. By designing a wooden box they were able to gain some space to separate the toilet from the bathroom and to add some extra storage above this new space. The use of a modern ‘box’ enables to contrast with the classic ceiling moulding without touching it. The use of lots of wood, a thin mortex floor, retro bath tiles and white paint is in harmony with the style of the apartment. The use of light stripes made it possible to create indirect light and hide the ventilation systems.
